One of our interests has been is to catch a train to London and once there - just WANDER off.   We pick a starting point and then head off somewhere else. Little Venice to Camden, Westfield to Waterloo, The South Bank to Bermondsey and Shad Thames, The City and the markets - Borough, Spitalfields, Leadenhall  also Portobello Road and Notting Hill and many more.

The enjoyment is in the atmosphere, the sights and sounds and the pockets of history we discover.  Always interesting are the vistas, the shapes and shadows of the buildings and the juxtaposition of old and new.

In this series the shapes and patterns are emphasised by the use colours
