Each of us has a rich storehouse of visual memories, residing either in our conscious or  subconscious mind. We are innately attracted to images that feel familiar, those which spark inspiration and stir something within us.

The visual images that resonate with me and are a source of inspiration always begin with colour and are often associated with water, sail, big skies and skylines, the lofty and the architectural. 
I  also like to  look for shapes and forms, rhythms and patterns reminiscent of those perfect moments which lift the spirit

By working with printed and hand-painted fabrics, and by incorporating stitch with broken lines and transitional colours,   I hope to create images that may also resonate with those who share our interest
